Modern Apprenticeships Meeting at Westminster

On March 23rd our Chairman Rob Gardiner attended a meeting with MP Nadhim Zahawi who has been tasked to lead the government’s Modern Apprenticeship initiative.  Rob has previous experience of MAs as he was a principle developer in conjunction with BT on the Telecommunications Modern Apprenticeship Scheme (TEMAS) in the mid-1990s.  Rob will be offering advice and guidance to Nadhim specifically on telecommunications training schemes as the training that Ubi-Tech currently deliver is very close to his heart. Ubi-Tech were instrumental in the validation process of the 2 degree programmes that form part of the Advanced Apprenticeship and will be involved in its delivery mechanism.

At the meeting Rob invited Nadhim to kindly officiate at the opening of our new training centre in Redditch. Nadhim graciously accepted the invitation and the official opening will take place on June 17th.Nadhim meeting
