Ubi-Tech attended the annual ITP Awards Dinner at the Radisson Blu Portman hotel in London on December 7th. We hosted a table for invited guests from Telent, Hewlett Packard, Savilles Group and The Sales Bridge, we also sponsored the Telecoms Apprentice of the year award.
The Apprentice of the Year Award was won by Matt Gobey of Openreach, hearty congratulations to Matt and we wish him a successful career.
The opening address was given my Anne Widdecombe, former Conservative cabinet member, Strictly Come Dancing and Pantomime star, who entertained us with several amusing anecdotes from her time in politics and under the Strictly glitter ball.
After the awards we were entertained with live music and a casino for which we were all given some funny money to spend as we wished – sadly none of us turned out to be the high rollers we thought we might be and our money was very soon kindly contributed to the croupiers!
Here are a few pictures of what was a great night and we look forward to next year’s event.
