Graduation day finally arrived for our students who have worked so hard over the last two years. It took place at Wulfrun Hall in Wolverhampton and was a fitting occasion to recognise the achievements of all those who have achieved their Post Graduate Certificate in Wireless Communications by chosing Ubi-Tech as their resettlement training provider. The awards were presented in order of seniority with those achieving a Masters recognised first followed immediately by our PG Certificates as the programme is part of a wider Masters curricula. We had 29 students listed which was the largest single group to be recognised on the day.
Sadly not all 29 of our alumni were able to attend as they are all busy in their new careers but we were delighted that the following were able to join us on this great day:
Denise Smart – now Project Manager at Arqiva on the CTIL project, North West region managing from Manchester to the coast of Scotland.
Kevin Norris – now Telecoms Project Engineer at Network Rail
Ed Whttaker – now Senior Project Manager at AEB international delivering compliance software to BAE
Steve Chapman – now PMO and Professional Services Project Manager, Global Accounts Division – Level 3 Communications
It is immensely rewarding to see how well our ex-students are doing in their new, rewarding and challenging careers – having made that difficult decision to leave the armed forces they have now gone from camo gear to graduation gown and cap, as the saying goes “our work here is done”.
Might you be the next to follow in their footstep? Why not give us a call to talk about career options in telecoms?
