We are a preferred supplier to the Tri-Services to deliver our Post Graduate Certificate in Wireless Communications to communicators and ICT specialists as part of their Continuous Professional Development. We are an ELCAS approved centre number 6079 and you may use your accumulated ELCAS credits to pay towards the cost of the course. The PGCert is accredited by the University of Wolverhampton and is equal to 60 UCAS points and is part of a Master’s programme.
Onwards to a Master’s degree
When you have attained the PGCert you may wish to progress to attaining a full Master’s degree; the next step will be to attend our PGDip in Wireless Communications which will also gain you 60 UCAS points and having achieved that your final element is to write a work based thesis of 10,000 words.
Royal Logistic Corps (RLC)
We run programmes for the RLC throughout the year. You are required to contact the Communications Specialist Head of Trade based at Normandy Barracks, Leconfield to register your interest. When you have been approved to attend the course, you will need to apply for your ELCAS funding and bring your CAN with you when you commence the course.
Your previous training, knowledge and work experience within your military role is recognised by the University of Wolverhampton through the ‘Recognition of Prior Learning’ (RPL) board as meeting the requirements to attend our PG Certificate.
Courses can be delivered on military bases or at our training centre in Redditch. To deliver the course onsite we need a minimum of five students.
Course Details and Itinerary
The programme is fifteen days in duration followed by a six-month period during which you will write three assignments of 4000-6000 words based on the classroom studies. We provide you with a list of assignment titles to choose from. We will review your assignments and provide effective and constructive feedback before we submit them to the university for marking. You will be contacted direct by the university with news of your result and you will be invited to attend a graduation ceremony in the Autumn. The whole process from attending the classroom to full graduation can take a minimum of 12 months.

The total cost is £3,500 which includes VAT and university fees.
