Professor of Mobile and Wireless Systems
Rob is one of the founder partners of Ubi-Tech alongside Richard Lee and Mike Harbon and has been appointed a Professor at the University of Suffolk where he is now working independently as a Professor of Mobile and Wireless Systems within the STEM Faculty. Rob was appointed by the Appointments and Promotions Board and undertakes a number of roles within his specialism. He is delighted to remain closely associated with Ubi-Tech and to continue to provide invaluable insight and knowledge on future technologies in the telecoms industry on a consultative basis and to act as our liaison into academia. He gives Ubi-Tech advice and guidance on industry training requirements and he is also our university moderator and reviews and marks all student papers before final submission to the university assessment boards.
Maria Hall Operations Manager
Maria is the Ubi-Tech Operations Manager and is often the first point of contact within the Ubi-Tech team. She works with the candidates enquiring about our courses to ensure they have all the relevant information and understand the process to apply for ELCAS. Maria assists with any enquiries the students have.
On a day to day basis she completes the main business tasks to ensure our company and courses run smoothly and efficiently. Maria manages relationships with corporate customers and is the liaison with the University of Wolverhampton and other awarding bodies. She manages company financing, HR, provides customer care and is involved with course promotion and sales.
Christine Dedman Head of Marketing
Christine is an experienced Marketing and Communications professional with sixteen years cross sector experience spanning B2B, consumer, public and third sector markets, both in-house and agency. Christine has a relevant background in Defence communications having been marketing manager for Defence Communications Agency Western Europe and Communications Officer for SSAFA Forces Help Western Europe. Christine currently consults for the University of Wolverhampton in developing their Armed Forces Education portfolio and business programme engagement. Former roles held include; senior key account manager for the Britvic Trade PR programme (major brands such as Pepsi, J2O) and Communications Manager for the BII. Christine is an experienced major bids writer with notable success in researching and writing a bid to the Department of Health and MoD Covenant funding. Christine is spouse to a serving Army Officer and understands first hand the challenges of military life, she also founded and directs the Forces Enterprise Network in support of service families in business.
Adrian Davies Head of Training
Chris Bramhill Instructor
Chris served eight years in the Princess of Wale’s Royal Regiment before leaving to pursue a career in the world of IT. It was there that he developed the skills to be able to build and maintain networks and servers. Chris is proficient at programming languages such as Html, Java Script and Linux. From here he moved over to telecommunications where he completed his Post-Graduate Certification and joins us as an Instructor.
