Robert Gardiner Professor of Mobile and Wireless Systems
Rob is one of the founder partners of Ubi-Tech alongside Richard Lee and Mike Harbon and has been appointed a Professor at the University of Suffolk where he is now working independently as a Professor of Mobile and Wireless Systems within the STEM Faculty. Rob was appointed by the Appointments and Promotions Board and undertakes a number of roles within his specialism. He is delighted to remain closely associated with Ubi-Tech and to continue to provide invaluable insight and knowledge on future technologies in the telecoms industry on a consultative basis and to act as our liaison into academia. He gives Ubi-Tech advice and guidance on industry training requirements and he is also our university moderator and reviews and marks all student papers before final submission to the university assessment boards.

Heath Manning Instructor
Heath served in the Royal Corps of Signals for 9 years and has held job roles in networking, cryptography and electronic warfare. He developed a passion for instructing whilst serving in Northern Ireland where he would travel around the country teaching TETRA Motorola equipment.
In 2013, with a view to further develop his knowledge he enrolled with Royal Holloway University London to study MSc Information Security. Keen to teach a technical subject, Heath interviewed for the position of instructor with Ubi-Tech. After interviewing he successfully attended the Post Graduate Certificate in Wireless Communications.

Jason Kolmer Instructor
Jason served in the Royal Corps of Signals for 8 years and has seen active service in Afghanistan as a Communications Systems Operator. He has also spent time in Kenya, Canada, Andorra and Spain on various Telecommunications and Electronic Warfare Exercises.
Jason left the army in December 2014 and began training as a teacher, where he graduated as a Teacher of Computer Science with BA (Hons).
Jason has many leather bound books and his house smells of rich mahogany.
Maria Hall Operations Manager
Maria is the Ubi-Tech Office Manager and is often the first point of contact within the Ubi-Tech team. She works with the candidates enquiring about our courses to ensure they have all the relevant information and understand the process to apply for ELCAS. When they are on the course Maria is on hand for any enquiries the students have.
On a day to day basis she completes the main office tasks to ensure our courses run smoothly and efficiently. Her role includes generating and following up sales leads, representing Ubi-Tech at industry training and employment fairs, providing customer care, invoicing and finance and managing relationships with corporate customers.
Jaspreet Dhesi Administrative Assistant
Jas is the office administrative assistant supporting Maria Hall Operations Manager, with the daily running of the office along with supporting the courses. Jas experience of working with large corporates in the telecommunications industry including Ericsson & Greenwoods Communications. Whilst Jas gained a wealth of knowledge and experience of the industry she also gained administrative skills with organising, supporting projects, on boarding and off boarding of new employees, co-ordinated inductions and training of new field operatives. Jas also liaises with managers / external training providers to ensure smooth transition of field operatives into the organisations after their training period and ensure programmes and schedules are synchronised. She also has good approachable communications and administrative skills verbal & written. All gained from working within Human Resources departments for companies such as RICS (Registered Institute of Surveyors), Severn Trent Water & Atos.
