Our Commitment to UK Armed Forces
We are committed to providing our UK Armed Forces with high quality training to support serving soldiers with their Continual Professional Development as part of their military career. We are a preferred supplier to the Royal Logistic Corps and the Royal Corps of Signals and deliver our Post Graduate Certificate in Wireless Communications to communicators as part their learning development.
Armed Forces Career Transition and Veteran
We work with the Armed Forces Career Transition Partnership in helping those who have served our country to start new careers in civilian life as their military careers come to an end. We do this in two ways; firstly, by providing specialist telecommunications training and secondly by placing them into new careers either with ourselves or through our network of contacts within the telecoms industry.
Armed Forces Covenant, Royal British Legion and Sponsorship
Ubi-Tech (3R) Ltd takes pride in our corporate support for The Royal British Legion We take our declaration of support to the Armed Forces Covenant seriously and ensure our policies and practices uphold the pledges we have made. We currently hold the Silver Defence Employer Recognition Award which demonstrates our support.
We sponsor the Royal Logistic Corps Foundation and Armed Forces Week and Armed Forces Reserves week as well as providing sponsorship for Armed Forces Sports teams and challenges where appropriate.
Accredited programmes and courses
Our programmes and courses are accredited to ensure quality and excellence in our training content and delivery. As a Higher Education, accredited organisation, we are an official training partner to The University of Wolverhampton, and we are keen to work with other local universities to help them establish closer links with the telecoms industry. We are committed to continually developing new programme content in line with the fast-paced changes seen in the telecommunications industry to ensure our programmes are always relevant and up to date.
Our extensive portfolio includes accredited courses by City & Guilds and the Open College Network West Midlands and our recent 5G Introduction programme is accredited by the Institute of Telecommunications Professionals (ITP).
Apprenticeships – Telecoms Industry
Ubi-Tech are committed to developing the training of operatives and emerging leaders as part of the Early Careers programme giving access to a wide range of training opportunities and technological expertise.
We are committed to developing the skills and training of the telecoms industry and work closely with the Institute of Telecommunication Professionals to support apprenticeship opportunities as well as sponsoring their annual Apprentice of the Year Award.
Hereford and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce and Schools Skills
We are committed to supporting local and regional We are a member of the Hereford and Worcester Chamber of Commerce and fully support its aims and activities in developing business within the two counties. We hope to strengthen our support for the local business community and enter new opportunities for the benefit of our own business growth and that of our regional economy.
We support the Hereford and Worcester Schools Skills day to benefit school children, teachers and careers advisors within the two counties to help grow their understanding and knowledge of the telecommunications industry and inspire future careers.
